DIY Felt Squirrel

This little squirrel is one of my most popular designs. This is a PDF instant download of my tutorial on making a 4 inch needle felt baby squirrel. This tutorial is very detailed with 16 pages, tips and 74 photos. It will print on 8.5 by 11 paper or you can view it on your screen. It includes a bonus of how to make a felted acorn. This squirrel is an intermediate project. If you have successfully finished my needle felt bunny tutorial you are ready for this. It should take about 4 hours. This tutorial is for a grey squirrel, but it can easily be adapted to a red or black squirrel. Here are the supplies you will need: • Foam or felting surface. • Felting needles, 38 star or 40 spiral, optional 42 triangle for eye detail, optional 40 reverse needle • Multi-needle felting tool (optional) • Ruler • Scissors • Wire cutter • Needle nose pliers • 20 gauge copper wire • Craft glue • 1 ounce Corriedale or core wool • 1 ounce rose grey alpaca • ½ ounce grey brown core wool • Fawn alpaca • White alpaca • Pink or blush wool • Pink or brown wool for nose • Black alpaca or wool • Acorn cap • Green or colored wool I did not provide exact quantities of wool, because they are very small amounts. I hope you enjoy creating this bunny, but please do not sell your bunny online or distribute the tutorial as this is my original design.
